The summit of the Beatlemania Era
1965 was a very fruitful year for The Beatles, with the film ‘Help!’, the second USA tour, including the glorious Shea Stadium concert, the European and World tour, 2 LPs, 2 singles, a book by John, the Medals of the British Empire… and the whole world fell at their feet. This photo, included in the book, shows a typical fan girl Beatles sanctuary during the days of ‘Rubber Soul’ (USA version, in this case)

'Rubber Soul' Sessions
This is the way it looks the cover photo of ‘Rubber Soul’ without the famous (and fantastic) lettering artwork, and with no color. It was shot by Robert Freeman in Hyde Park during a photo session after the end of the studio recording sessions.

'Rubber Soul' Sessions
A great picture of our three knights with acoustic guitars.
Definitely, ‘Rubber Soul’ marks the rising of acoustic guitars in the mixing of the tracks, and it probably is the first album conceived as a whole work.
[By the way, it was the first ever LP of The Beatles I heard as a complete album, not individual songs, and I think I must have listened to it about a thousand times… each of them enjoyed!]

A fantastic photo of the four in the studio. In the book it appears in orange colour, but here is shown in black and white.
I like the carpets on the wooden floor, probably put to improve sound quality, but very good looking and comfortable in any case.
